«Le nuove tecnologie al servizio del vostro paziente e senza costi aggiunti»

Vision of the Consortium

The myDoctorAngel Consortium was founded as a cooperative group composed of healthcare professionals, doctors, and healthcare facilities with the aim of promoting a Value-Based Healthcare model through the use of new technologies. Our goal is to build the healthcare system of the future in Ticino—independent, innovative, and cooperative. We have created the know-how and tools, and now we want to offer them to all healthcare providers and patients in a free and transparent manner.

The inaugural event of the myDoctorAngel Consortium will be a gathering of doctors, nurses, and representatives from healthcare institutions, including Spitex and nursing homes, to begin the journey towards a new, interconnected, patient-centered digital healthcare system. Starting from the example of oncological and multimorbid patients, we will address the system’s critical points and evaluate development solutions as a consortium.

Regional media will also be invited to the event to hear from participating operators and learn about what we plan to do together in the coming years for the benefit of patients.

The Consortium will have its own value charter, a letter of intent, and a specific contract with no additional costs, to be created with the members of the Pioneer Group, which is the Consortium’s coordination group that will be formed in the coming months, with representatives from the adhering institutions. To provide this service, we will need political and financial support from institutions, associations, and foundations in the region. For this reason, alongside the creation of the Consortium, myDoctorAngel will launch a fundraising campaign to support patients and healthcare facilities in the innovation and digitization process.

Benefits for Consortium Members

Joining the myDoctorAngel Consortium offers numerous benefits for individual doctors, Spitex services, and healthcare facilities such as nursing homes:

  1. Free access to myDoctorAngel’s telemedicine platforms, allowing for continuous and advanced monitoring of complex patients through wearable devices and innovative technologies.
  2. Structured collaboration to improve the quality of care and digitize care processes, optimizing resource management and providing continuous support for daily clinical practice.
  3. Free continuous training on new technologies, with four events scheduled for 2025 and the possibility of organizing training sessions directly within member facilities, promoting the growth of digital and technological skills among staff.
  4. Exclusive access to quality circles, clinical research, new devices, and artificial intelligence applications, enabling members to stay at the forefront of the healthcare sector.
  5. In the future, special discounts on technological devices and services provided by companies selected by the myDoctorAngel scientific committee will be available through the Consortium, leading to significant savings for both facilities and doctors. This aligns with the mission to reduce the operating costs of services in the region.

Opportunities and Future Prospects

Joining the myDoctorAngel Consortium offers the opportunity to actively contribute to creating a new vision of healthcare, where technology, quality care, and economic sustainability work together to improve the lives of patients and healthcare workers. Consortium members will benefit from free access until December 31, 2024, and will continue to benefit from future collaborations. Representatives of the Pioneer Group, designated by the organizations joining the Consortium, will jointly evaluate the future legal form of the Consortium, such as a cooperative society or a non-profit association.
